Privacy Policy — ORVIOM Validate
Last Updated: 5 October 2026
Effective Date: 5 October 2026
ORVIOM Validate (“ORVIOM Validate”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a mobile application developed and provided by ORVIOM.
ORVIOM Validate is designed to help users inspect and validate digitally signed PDF documents and generate a new verified copy of a document when the digital signature is successfully validated.
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information ORVIOM Validate accesses, how it is processed, where it is stored, and whether it is shared.
- Information We Access
ORVIOM Validate allows you to select PDF documents from your Android device for digital-signature verification.
When you choose a PDF, the application may access information contained within that document that is necessary to perform verification, including:
PDF document content required for processing
Digital signature fields
Digital signature data
Cryptographic signature information
Document hash/digest information
Digital certificate information embedded in the PDF
Signer’s certificate information
Signer’s name, when available in the certificate
Signature date/time, when available
Signature reason, when available
Signature location, when available
Other technical information contained in the digital signature necessary for verification
This information is processed solely to provide the application’s PDF verification functionality. - How PDF Documents Are Processed
ORVIOM Validate is designed to perform PDF signature verification locally on your Android device.
When you select a PDF:
The selected PDF is opened by the application.
The application identifies digital signature information.
The signed portions of the PDF are reconstructed according to the signature’s ByteRange information.
The digital signature and associated cryptographic information are examined.
The application verifies the document’s cryptographic signature and message digest.
If verification succeeds, the application can generate a new verified PDF.
The generated PDF can be displayed inside the application and saved to your device.
Your selected PDF documents are not intentionally uploaded to ORVIOM servers for verification.
ORVIOM Validate does not require you to create an account or upload your documents to a cloud service to use the core verification functionality. - Information We Do Not Collect
ORVIOM Validate does not require you to provide:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Home address
Account credentials
Password
Payment information
Contacts
Location information
Photos or videos unrelated to a PDF selected by you
Advertising profile information
The application does not require an ORVIOM account for its core PDF verification functionality. - Documents and Personal Information Inside PDFs
A PDF that you choose to verify may itself contain personal or sensitive information.
For example, a digitally signed government or identity document may contain information such as:
Name
Date of birth
Address
Identification numbers
Photograph
Digital certificate information
Signature information
ORVIOM Validate processes such information only as necessary to perform the functionality requested by you.
Because the document is selected by you, you are responsible for deciding which documents you provide to the application.
We recommend that you do not select or share documents unless you are authorized to use them. - Digital Signature Information
During verification, ORVIOM Validate may process information associated with a digital signature, including:
Signer name
Certificate subject
Certificate information
Signature algorithm
Message-digest algorithm
Signature value
Signature date/time, when available
Signature reason, when available
Signature location, when available
Signature field information
ByteRange information
This information is used to determine whether the cryptographic digital signature contained in the PDF is valid.
A cryptographically valid signature does not necessarily mean that the certificate is trusted, unrevoked, or legally valid for every purpose.
The application should not be interpreted as providing legal, governmental, financial, or professional certification merely because a digital signature is reported as valid. - Recent Verified Files
ORVIOM Validate may maintain a list of recently verified PDFs so that you can quickly access documents that you have previously verified.
This recent-file information is intended to remain on your device and is used to provide the application’s Recent Files functionality.
The application may store information such as:
File name
Local document reference/URI
Verification status
Information necessary to reopen the generated verified PDF
Recent files are not intentionally uploaded to ORVIOM servers.
If you delete the corresponding file from your device or revoke access to it, the application may no longer be able to open that file. - Generated Verified PDFs
When a digitally signed PDF passes the application’s verification process, ORVIOM Validate may create a new verified PDF.
The generated PDF may contain information derived from the original signature, such as:
Verification status
Signer name
Signature date/time
Signature reason, when available
Signature location, when available
A visual indication that the signature was verified
The original PDF is not intended to be overwritten by the generated verified PDF.
Generated files may be saved to your Android device’s Downloads storage through Android’s storage framework.
You control these files and can delete them from your device using the available Android file-management functionality. - File Storage
ORVIOM Validate may use Android’s standard storage mechanisms, including MediaStore, to save generated verified PDFs to a user-accessible Downloads location.
Files saved to your device are subject to the security and access controls provided by your Android device and operating system.
ORVIOM does not receive a copy of these files merely because you save them to your device. - Data Sharing
ORVIOM Validate does not intentionally sell, rent, or share your PDF documents or digital-signature information with third parties.
The application does not intentionally transmit your selected PDF documents to ORVIOM servers for the core verification functionality.
ORVIOM does not sell personal or sensitive user information. Google Play’s policies prohibit the sale of personal and sensitive user data.
Google Help
If this data-handling practice changes in a future version of the application, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. - Third-Party Services and Libraries
ORVIOM Validate may use open-source software libraries necessary to provide PDF processing and cryptographic functionality.
These components may include libraries used for:
PDF parsing
PDF generation
Digital-signature processing
Cryptographic operations
Certificate processing
Such libraries are used to provide the application’s core functionality.
ORVIOM Validate does not intentionally use these libraries to collect or sell your personal information.
We review the application’s dependencies and their data-handling behavior as part of maintaining the application.
Google Play requires developers to account for data collection or sharing performed by third-party SDKs or libraries when completing the Data Safety section.
Google Help +1 - Analytics and Advertising
ORVIOM Validate does not intentionally use personal information from your PDFs for advertising or targeted marketing.
The application does not use your document contents to create an advertising profile.
If advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or another third-party service is added in a future version and involves user data collection, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated before or when the relevant functionality is introduced. - Internet and Network Communication
The core PDF verification functionality is designed to operate locally on your device and does not require uploading your PDF to a remote verification server.
ORVIOM Validate does not intentionally transmit your selected PDF documents or their contents to ORVIOM’s servers for verification.
Any future network functionality that changes how user information is processed will be disclosed through an updated Privacy Policy and, where required, appropriate in-app disclosures. - Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the application.
ORVIOM Validate is designed to minimize unnecessary collection and transmission of user information.
Where possible, PDF processing and digital-signature verification are performed locally on the user’s device rather than requiring document upload to a remote server.
However, no software or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should also use appropriate security measures on your Android device, including:
Device lock
Android security updates
Trusted applications
Secure storage practices - Data Retention
ORVIOM Validate does not maintain a remote copy of your selected PDF documents as part of the application’s normal local verification process.
Files generated by the application remain on your device until you delete them or they are otherwise removed by the operating system or another application.
Recent-file references may remain locally in the application until they are removed through application data management or otherwise become unavailable.
We do not claim ownership of your documents. - Data Deletion
Because the core document processing is performed locally, you can delete your documents and generated verified PDFs from your device using Android’s file-management features.
You may also clear the application’s local data through Android’s application settings. Doing so may remove locally stored application information, including recent-file information.
If you believe that ORVIOM has received personal information from you outside the normal local operation of the application and you want that information deleted, you may contact us using the contact information below. - Children’s Privacy
ORVIOM Validate is not specifically designed for children.
The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to ORVIOM in a manner that should not have occurred, they may contact us using the contact information below. - User Responsibility
ORVIOM Validate is a technical document-verification tool.
The application reports the result of the digital-signature verification performed by its verification system.
A “Signature Valid” result should not by itself be interpreted as:
confirmation of the identity of the document owner;
confirmation that the document itself is genuine in every respect;
confirmation that a certificate is trusted by a particular authority;
confirmation that a certificate has not been revoked unless revocation checking is specifically supported and reported;
legal certification;
government approval; or
professional/legal advice.
Users should independently confirm the authenticity and legal acceptance of important documents with the relevant authority when necessary. - Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:
Changes to ORVIOM Validate
New functionality
Changes in data processing
Changes in applicable laws or regulations
Changes to Google Play requirements
Changes to third-party services or libraries
When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
If a significant change affects how user data is handled, we will provide appropriate notice where required. - Contact Us
